An image that captures the breath coming out of my mouth is projected to a wall. On the floor a series of glass test tubes are placed on top of a bed of gravel. On the wall, a wordplay, a neologism of the word aliento (breath), is written with pencil to capture the length of a breath in the time that it takes to read it.
Inspired by a short story by the Cuban writer Guillermo Cabrera Infante in which he describes the work of a spirit catcher who captures the last breath of the dying in a test tube.
