Fourteen
drawings of the lines of the palm of my hands –seven of each
hand– are etched to paraffine wax panels with black ink. Each
group of seven drawings is stacked and placed on top of two light
boxes. The light boxes are installed at the end of a corridor.
Over time the subtle light of the light boxes melts the wax panels
making
them stick together, allowing the scent of the beeswax to fill the
space of the Gallery.
